Musago is an interactive educational platform that was released in 2022, incorporating animated music-theory lessons, quizzes, and worksheets to deliver a holistic learning curriculum to music students across Australia. The monumental feat of designing the Musago platform was achieved in collaboration with Teachers, Website Designers, Marketing Professionals, Animators (Praxis Multimedia), and many other talented individuals.
I was privileged to have been able to work alongside Zac Pugh, Founder of Musago, in the production of over 4.5 hrs of animated course content over a nine-month period. Together, we were able to animate 88 lessons worth of educational material. Zac is an immensely quick learner and a creative musical genius; to see his skills in animation progress so swiftly during this project was nothing short of inspiring.
Perhaps the biggest growth point over the course of Musago's initial release was the refinement of workflow between Zac and myself, due to the time-consuming nature of animating. We were able to keep turnaround quick, and massively reduce costs, simply by leaning on each others strengths and implementing extra plug-ins and time-saving tools into our animation software.
